Heather Majewski

A Bit About Me

Hello! My name is Heather Majewski, and I am a Recovery Coach and Certified Peer Advocate.  I am dedicated to partnerships in hope and recovery for those living with behavioral mental health issues and substance use disorder. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Buffalo with 17 years of mental health experience at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center working with adults with serious mental illnesses. I am a New York Certified Peer Specialist (provisional) and a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach.

I am in long-term sustained recovery from multiple substances and toxic, co-dependent relationships, so to be able to help others seeking recovery in these areas brings me great joy. I am well-versed and excited to partner with folks navigating recovery from substance use disorder and walking beside people through singlehood and new relationships. 

When I am not working, I am a bible study teacher, a worship leader, a swing dancer, and a motorcyclist. I am also passionate about bio-sculpting: including intentional thought regulation, cold-plunge technology, meditative breathwork, fasting, stream-of-consciousness journaling, microbiome cultivation, musical modulation, ionic grounding, and nutrigenomics.
