Timothy G. Bax, MS

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Niagara University. I continued my education at the University at Buffalo Law School and received my Juris Doctor degree.

Before coming to IHNO, I worked for 12 years as an Addiction Counselor and Family Counselor in the Inpatient Rehabilitation program at Renaissance Addiction Services in West Seneca, NY, working with adolescents in recovery and their families. I’ve been working with people struggling with life-controlling problems including addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety.

I am also a Minister and Pastoral Candidate at Word of Life Ministries in Niagara Falls, NY. Where I facilitate two recovery ministries: Victory Over Addiction at Word of Life Ministries and Redemption Fellowship at the Salvation Army Lockport Corps. I’m also a teacher in the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission Discipleship Program.

I’m in long-term, sustained recovery from opiate addiction. My passion is to walk with others into recovery. Helping others find hope and freedom. I’ve been married to my beautiful wife for 39 years, living in Niagara Falls, NY for most of our lives. Together we have two children and two granddaughters. I love spending time with my family and friends.
